Location Hinterstoder is a municipality in Upper Austria in the district of Kirchdorf im Traunviertel with 899 inhabitants. The village lies at an altitude of 599 m in the Traunviertel, in the south of Upper Austria on the border with Styria. The municipality lies in the Stodertal valley and is surrounded by the mountains of the Totes Gebirge in a horseshoe shape. The highest point is the Große Priel (2514 m).
